The fuller tale

House Harte belongs to the lesser nobility of the Crownlands, the lords and knights whose modest holdings lie within the shadow of the capital and who owe their allegiance directly to the crown. The histories keep no long account of them, but such houses are the ordinary stuff of the realm ÔÇö the men who fill a royal host and hold the roads and fields between the great castles.
