The fuller tale

House Rollingford belongs to the lesser nobility of the Crownlands, whose lords hold their lands directly from the crown. Little of them is set down in the great chronicles, but they endure among the small houses of the capital's country, a name numbered in the rolls of the king's bannermen through the long succession of those who have ruled from the Iron Throne.
