Bhonash
A dusty town on the caravan roads north of Slaver's Bay.
The fuller tale
Bhonash is a waystation — a dusty town on the caravan roads that skirt Slaver’s Bay’s hinterland, where the routes from the Rhoyne country and the demon road’s northern reaches meet the trade running toward Meereen and the grass sea. No songs are made about such places, which is rather their function: wells, walls, stables, a market that deals in everything the great cities need moved and nothing they would admit to wanting, and rumor — the true currency of the east — changing hands at every fire. When dragons return to the world, towns like Bhonash hear of it weeks before most kings do. The story’s wars pass it by; the news of them never does.
The fallen of this place — if any, they are named here. Spoilers.
No death the chronicle records has come to this ground — or none the maesters have set down.
