Blackcrown
A seat at the western tip of the Reach, south of Oldtown.
The fuller tale
Blackcrown holds the Reach's southwestern corner past Oldtown, where the land runs out and the sea takes over the argument, and House Bulwer has kept it since the days when that corner needed keeping against longships and worse. It is a seat of cliffs, herds and hard weather off the water, sworn to the Hightowers as all this coast is, and its levies march when Oldtown calls. The tale touches it only in the margins the books keep for such places ÔÇö a house led, in the war years, by a child lady, which is how the era's arithmetic works out for many small seats once the muster rolls come home short. Blackcrown's crown stays on; the heads beneath it change too often.
The fallen of this place ÔÇö if any, they are named here. Spoilers.
No death the chronicle records has come to this ground ÔÇö or none the maesters have set down.
