Castle Cerwyn sits half a dayÔÇÖs ride south of Winterfell, close enough that its lords have always been the StarksÔÇÖ nearest neighbors, first dinner guests and first levy on any muster roll. That proximity is the houseÔÇÖs whole fate in the war: when the Boltons take Winterfell, the Cerwyns are the nearest example to be made ÔÇö a lord flayed alive for refusing to pay his new masters ÔÇö and the survivors ride with the wolves at the first chance vengeance offers.
