The fuller tale

Feastfires holds the headland where the Westerlands run out into the Sunset Sea, seat of House Prester and its red ox ÔÇö grazing country and beacon country, first to sight whatever the western ocean sends and historically glad it is usually nothing. The Presters ride in the Lannister columns through the riverlands war and pay the middling housesÔÇÖ usual dues to it; their seatÔÇÖs name, from the fires of its headland, is the westÔÇÖs oldest kind of watchfulness ÔÇö set a light, watch the sea, feed the guests.
