Ramsgate keeps the eastern shore of the White Knife where the river opens toward the Bite ÔÇö a small stone seat in White HarborÔÇÖs orbit, tied to the Manderlys by marriage and habit. It is the working North the songs skip: fishing fleets, river tolls, levies mustered and sent wherever the wolves point. Places like Ramsgate are why White Harbor can promise the Starks a thousand swords and mean it.
