The bare, ring-walled hill north of the Wall is older than the Watch itself and utterly untouched by the centuryÔÇÖs dynastic war ÔÇö no rider, black or green, has cause to come this far, and the ancient ringfort keeps its own much longer memory of ruin, one that predates dragons by thousands of years.
