Kingsgrave
Seat of House Manwoody
A mountain seat named for a king slain at its gates.
The fuller tale
Named for a king slain at its own gates in an older war, the Manwoodys’ mountain seat sits out the Dance along with the rest of Dorne — a princedom with its own long memory of Targaryen conquest attempts feeling little urgency to bleed for either of the dragon’s two quarreling heirs.
The fallen of this place — if any, they are named here. Spoilers.
No death the chronicle records has come to this ground — or none the maesters have set down.
