Mantarys
City on the demon road

The fuller tale
The ill-omened city on the haunted road to Valyria has troubles enough of its own — the demon road’s reputation, and whatever truth lies beneath the rumors of twisted births, occupies Mantarys considerably more than a Targaryen civil war it will never hear firsthand news of.
