The fuller tale

Norvos, ruled by its bearded priests and timed by its three great bells, takes no part in the Dance of the Dragons — the city’s wars, such as they are, run to old rivalries with Qohor over the forest between them, and a Westerosi succession dispute four hundred leagues west barely disturbs the rhythm the bells keep for the bearded fathers’ flock.
