The Vale’s famous chokepoint asks its old question — who would enter the Vale? — of exactly nobody during the Dance of the Dragons; with Jeyne Arryn firmly in Rhaenyra’s camp and no green army foolish enough to try the mountain road, the Bloody Gate spends the whole war doing what it does best, which is standing there being unconquerable.
