The fuller tale

The westernmost castle of the NightÔÇÖs Watch keeps its lonely post at the mountain end of the Wall through the Dance untouched and largely unremarked, its garrison too small and too far from any kingÔÇÖs road to matter to either color. Its war, as ever, is with the wildling passes it watches, not the dynasty tearing itself apart four hundred leagues south.
