Antlers
A modest seat in the hills north of King's Landing.
The fuller tale
The Antlers sits in the hills north of King’s Landing, seat of House Buckwell, whose rack-of-antlers sigil predates the Baratheon stag by a margin the family is known to mention more often than strictly necessary. Close enough to the capital to feel every tremor of royal politics and too modest to do much about any of them, Buckwell lords have traditionally practiced the small holding’s essential survival skill of swearing early and swearing sincerely to whichever direction the wind from King’s Landing seems to be blowing that season — a policy that has kept the Antlers standing through worse decades than this one.
The fallen of this place — if any, they are named here. Spoilers.
No death the chronicle records has come to this ground — or none the maesters have set down.
