Golden Tooth is a small, strongly built castle commanding the hill road between the riverlands and the westerlands, held by House Lefford in a position that matters far more than the castleÔÇÖs modest size would suggest ÔÇö every army, merchant train, or wedding party moving between the two regions by land passes beneath its walls, and the Leffords have made a comfortable living out of being the gate nobody can simply walk around.
