Lannisport
A walled port city in the shadow of the Rock — sacked in living memory by Dagon Greyjoy's longships, to the west's lasting shame.
The fuller tale
Lannisport is the walled port city sheltering in Casterly Rock’s shadow, wealthy enough in the ordinary run of things to be the pride of the western coast — which makes its sack within living memory, at the hands of Dagon Greyjoy’s longships, a humiliation the West has not finished swallowing. That the richest house in Westeros could not keep raiders off its own harbor is the sort of insult money cannot quite paper over, and Lannisport’s current garrisons, considerably more alert than they were before the raid, are the visible scar of a lesson the Lannisters intend never to need learning twice.

No death the chronicle records has come to this ground — or none the maesters have set down.
