Riverrun sits where the Tumblestone meets the Red Fork, its walls washed by two rivers on three sides, ancestral seat of House Tully since Aegon the Conqueror rewarded their early submission with lordship over the whole Trident ÔÇö an inheritance that cost the older riverlands houses, the Blackwoods and Brackens among them, a status they have never entirely forgiven the Tullys for receiving instead of them.
