Asha Greyjoy ÔÇö introduced here by her book name, called Yara in the show ÔÇö musters her uncles and captains at Ten Towers ahead of the kingsmoot, building a coalition to press her own claim to the Seastone Chair. She argues her case with wit, sea-salt bluntness and an axe she is plainly willing to use, positioning herself as Balon's only child who ever actually loved the Iron Islands rather than merely wanting to rule them. Her uncles Victarion and Euron loom as rival claimants even before the assembly convenes ÔÇö Euron mostly absent and mysterious, having been gone from the Iron Islands for years on reaving voyages no one can fully account for.

This chapter is Asha's formal introduction as a political actor rather than merely Theon's more capable sister, and it frames the kingsmoot to come as a genuine contest rather than a formality.
