The Eyrie
A castle of white stone atop the Giant's Lance, reached by a goat path and defended by the sky itself.
The fuller tale
The EyrieÔÇÖs Lady Jeyne Arryn ÔÇö remembered afterward as the Good Queen never crowned or, less kindly, simply ÔÇÿthe Black BrideÔÇÖ ÔÇö is one of RhaenyraÔÇÖs earliest and steadiest supporters, a woman who rules the Vale in her own right and never much doubts that a woman can rule Westeros too. Her loyalty is more than sentiment: Vale ships and Vale silver back the black cause from the warÔÇÖs opening days, and the EyrieÔÇÖs unassailable height means that whatever happens in the lowlands, no green army is ever climbing the mountain to argue with her about it.
